Colin Kaepernick: The Half Black Oppressed 49ers Player

The NFL bought those headphones.
The NFL bought those headphones.

If you haven’t heard already, here you go. Colin Kaepernick, a barely black NFL player sat during a pre-game national anthem ceremony. Why? Because he won’t “stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” as he told NFL Media, he added, “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

This is disgusting, want to know this guys salary? Well, here’s the break down: According to spotrac, he signed a $114,000,000 6 year contract; more than you, and I, and 5 of our friends will make in a lifetime combined, with a $12,000,000 sign on bonus. For those of you who don’t know what a sign on bonus, it’s basically an incentive to join a team – basically, by signing your name, you get a nice fat check for $12mil.

So, if you were in your position, would you like to spit on the country that made you rich? I don’t have much respect for the NFL, just a bunch of over paid whiney babies who can’t break free from the ghetto. I’m sure the NFL is perfectly fine with this, too. I mean, when the shootout back in July, and the Cowboys wanted to have a patch commemorating the cops, the NFL flat-out say NO.

I just can’t stand for this anymore, will there be backlash for this? Absolutely, but will his salary become non-existent? Absolutely – NOT. There should be a fine for this type of behavior. You can be upset about what’s going on in this world, but I’m certain he’s talking about cop-on-black violence, which you only ever here on CNN, NBC, ABC, and online news centers. You will never hear about the black on black violence.

If he is so upset about what’s going on, start a charity, do some sort of philanthropy, and make a difference. But, lets protest to the country that made him rich, because he is so oppressed. Oh, and slap the men and women, who let us be FREE, in the face.
